Cookies and local storage

Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser to remember information between visits. Similar technologies, such as localStorage, play a similar role, but the data stays only on your device.

• Consent record (localStorage): the "mg-consentimento-cookies" key stores the choice you made in the cookie notice. It exists after any decision, stays only in your browser and is not sent to our servers.
• Language preference (localStorage): the "mg-idioma-preferido" key stores the language you picked in the language suggestion bar, so the bar does not show up again. It only exists if you make that choice, stays only in your browser and contains no personal data.
• Google Analytics 4 cookies: set only after you choose "Allow statistics". They are _ga (distinguishes visitors; valid for up to 2 years, which the browser may shorten) and _ga_* (keeps the state of the measurement session; up to 2 years). Without your authorization, no cookie is set.

When authorized, audience measurement is done by Google Analytics 4, a service of Google LLC (United States). It shows us, in aggregate, which pages are visited, where visits come from and what kind of device is used. The international transfer of this data relies on the safeguards of the LGPD (art. 33) and the GDPR (Chapter V). GA4 uses the IP address only transiently, for approximate geolocation, and does not store it. Learn more in Google's privacy policy and on the page about how Google uses cookies.

You can change your mind at any time, right here. When you allow statistics, measurement starts immediately. When you go back to essential only, the Google Analytics cookies are removed and the page reloads to stop the measurement.
